Elevation

Base 5,790 ft to summit 7,590 ft, on the same scale as every resort in the list (16–13,487 ft).

Uphill travel

Two routes, avalanche beacon, probe and shovel advised: the Uphill Skin Track (from between the base of Coach's Corner and the road at the signed kiosk, through the trees to Deer Point; generally open at all times) and the Shafer Butte Route (from Pioneer Lodge up Lodge Cat Track to the hiker's left of Triumph, then up the cat track to Shafer Butte; closed for operations and winch grooming until 2 am). Be in downhill mode 45 minutes before opening (8:15 am weekends and holidays, 9:15 am weekdays); no uphill travel on alpine slopes during operating hours. Closed while the mountain prepares for the season.
